I’d Do It All Again is a fitting capstone for the body of musical work John Kockos created over the years.  It is personal, reflective, and conclusive in his messaging – of how he viewed his life.  But there’s another significance that shouldn’t be missed with I’d Do It All Again that goes beyond the sentiment expressed directly in the title track.

Perhaps sensing his own mortality at 90 years old is what triggered the writing and recording of I’d Do It All Again in May of 2013.  In that context, the timing of this particular recording is more than simple coincidence.  He would pass away just a few months later, but the reflection that he leaves presents a lasting and personal affirmation for all of his family and friends.
